undesirability of the 79 enemy subjects who were residente of Hongkong were sent to Australia.

As they would have to land, in the face of bitter public opposition, without means and without occupation, could not these interned Germans be repatriated to Germany in the first instance. I would urge that none should be returned direct to Hongkong.
